Can anyone recommend some good rides in Carson City?

    Hey everyone,

I live in Tahoe for school (just got here in January) and I'd love to get a couple rides in before I go home for the summer.

I rode Prison Hill earlier this week and while it was nice to get out, it felt more like an area to get a quick hike in than a real bike trail. I know there's more riding in Carson... just don't know where to look. Can anyone recommend something fun?
Speed has never killed anybody. Suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you.

Don't forget Centennial Park out east at the end of town. Depends on what type of riding you are looking for. Ash Canyon has some good trails, most will take about an hour or so for a single loop but you can tie lots of them together to be out there for a few hours. Look for my post that I rode with Hotwhls as I posted a good map of the trails (from bikecarson.com) as well as our route. We stopped a lot to talk and helped some other guys out and it took us about 3 hours to do close to 9 miles in Ash.
