    XO Sram vs XTR Shimano

Anyone have input on XO Sram vs. XTR Shimano. Pros and cons of the two. LOL...I know I'll have 10 people reply with 10 different answers but any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not to sound condescending but have you tried to use the "search" for this topic? unless you are specifically referring to the Moto's with SRAM or Shimano, you may be able to get more useful information in the SRAM/Shimano Manufacturer sub-forum or the "Drivetrain - shifters, derailleurs, cranks" sub-forum.

I'm leaning towards the SRAM build for the FS 29er since the shifters should be matchmaker compatible with the avid levers. Also, I'd like to go grip shift eventually assuming they make an X0 10 speed twist shifter

Having risen a Shimano bike for years I grew accustomed to shifting both up and down with my thumb NOT with my forefinger like with Sram. Just food for thought.
I thought SRAM X0 was only thumb/thumb not forefinger.
XTR has the either thumb/forefinger or thumb/thumb, right?

SRAM's one has colors... So pimp your ride while you can

I know, I'm addicted to SRAM components...
