What type of pedals do you recommend for 29er SS?

I've just pulled my new Outcast 29er SS out of the box. Looking to make my first upgrade and thinking about changing the pedals. What are your recommendations? Entry Level Egg Beaters?

I really like the shimano spd pedals. You can find M520's for $50 new or $30 used that will last longer than the super low end eggbeaters. Plus for entry pedals the shimanos allow you to adjust the tension to really loose, really tight, or anywhere in between. That is especially useful when getting used to clipless when you might still be a little anxious about being physically locked to the bike.

Big fan of the Crank Bros stuff for their simplicity. I have Candys and Acids on mine.
