    Torn--PRO 29er vs. 29 PRO SL

I'm kind of torn right now between the 29 PRO SL and the PRO 29er. Both look to be amazing values and awesome bikes, but for those with any experience can you persuade me either way between the two?

The biggest things I'm noticing are the XTR components and the nicer, Reba shock, both of which look to be possibly worth the extra $200.

I'm more concerned that the PRO SL is more of a XC bike, vs the PRO being a nice all-mountain 29er.

Thoughts? I'm a bigger rider (6'4, 230) and do mostly trails, adventure races, etc. Nothing super technical (anymore), but want something capable in just about anything.

I just purchased the Pro SL and I love it. I think it's definitely worth the extra $200 for the fork upgrade, brakes upgrade, and drivetrain upgrade. Worth far more than the $200 for the SL. Plus I like the brushed aluminum/black with a touch of red thing the SL has going on.

Thanks! I made the same conclusion after reading countless threads, looking at pics, etc.

I placed my order so it should be here soon!
