    tools to dissasemble bike?

I have decided that I want to paint my ds pro. I want to leave the rear triangle flat black but want to paint the frame a gloss red. I can easily take off the fork and rear triangle and what not but what about the headset and cranks. Can I get a decent job w/ just a good mask job around the headset? I painted and powdercoated parts on my 4runner w/ good results...my only issue here is the dissasembly? I love the bike but the flat black just bores me. I have about 8 mos of winter coming my way and need a project.

What do i need other than a good set of allen keys?

I was thinking that if I did a good mask job it might turn out looking good. no?

86 the above question. My local shop will completely dissasemble the bike, give me the frame and reassemble for $100 total. that's the way to go.
