SRAM Eagle MB? Check your B-screw!!

MBs usually come pretty well adjusted out of the box in my experience, but if you get one with Eagle, check that B-screw.....mine was WAY off and causing some pretty substantial issues and undoubtedly some premature wear. Yeah, I should I have checked it when I assembled but I figured it would be factory adjusted. You know what assumptions do....these things are not properly set up when they arrive. They also do no include the set up template to help you get there. MB should probably make the assemblers aware of this as well, as it is going to potentially cause them some customer headache.

Chewing a $360 cassette because the RD isn't properly adjusted from the factory is NOT a positive customer experience....

The Eagle drivetrain should come with a little a B-gap adjustment tool, too. My bike didn't include one. If you have an ok relationship with a local bike shop they may be able to loan/give you one.

Bought the plastic gauge for 8 bucks at Amazon. With a second Eagle bike en route, this was well worth it.
