    Removing decals

Has anyone had good results removing the decals on the painted frames? From what I understand they are clear coated and that makes me think removing them would end in a mess.

It's not about motobecane. I just don't like branding, labels and most graphics. I want to ditch the factory branding and add my own personalized vinyl graphics.

    Thanks

I am pretty sure you cannot remove them without stripping the clear coat. Your best option would be to cover them with sort of vinyl. Computerized vinyl cutters are pretty cheap these days so you can probably find some one local that can to it for you.

yeaaaaa, that's what I was thinking. Both of my kids hate every graphics package just as much as I do. maybe we'll just buy our own vinyl printer.
