New BB now crank doesn't fit???

I have the first year Night Train that came with "generic" cranks. I just installed a Race Face DH 100mm bottom bracket with the original spacers (2 non drive 1 drive side 2.5mm) and the original 10mm spacers for 190/197 rear and there's space, arm doesn't go snug to 10mm spacer creating slop. What gives? I can machine 10.5mm spacers at work to make it right but shouldn't have to. Btw my original BB was destroyed, makes me wonder if it was ever right?

Probably not. I bought a Fly Team Frame last year that had a totally jacked BB. You can look through here and find my posting. I think buying one of their assembled bikes is playing with fire. I ditched Motobecane and bought a Lynskey Ridgeline. Seems Motobecane frames have some corner cutting done on them, maybe the BB might be one of those areas.
