    MyUS.com shipping to Canada

    https://www.myus.com/about/contact/
Check out their "Packing and Shipping Questions".

Does anybody have experience using MyUS.com for shipping to Canada?
    What is the time frame?
    Shipping expenses?
    Duties?
I am looking at getting a HAL6 Expert Save Up to 60% Off 27.5 Six Inch Travel All Mountain Shimano DynaSys, 2017 Motobecane HAL6 EXPERT Edition 27.5 / 650B Full Suspension Mountain Bikes Shimano Deore / XT 20 Speed Shimano SLX Hydraulic Disc Brakes Rockshox Revelation 160mm Forks | Shima
and having it shipped to northern Alberta. I don't want to be surprised by high shipping and duties/fees though.
MyUS quotes $80 for 40 lbs with FedEx which would be fair but then they may add duties and fees??
    Thanks for your feedback.

Here is some good information on importing: https://terminalcityriders.ca/m/arti...arts-to-Canada

I asked BD: what are the box dimensions and shipping weight of a HAL6 ?
Answer:The box weighs about 30 lbs
    and the dimensions are 54 x 8 x 30 in.

    MyUS gave the following quote:
The estimate shipping quote for 30 lbs and 54x8x30 going to Canada would be $109.22 via DHL. This package cannot go via FedEx or Budget Economy as the girth is 130".

This still leaves the question about duties, taxes and fees. I guess till someone with actual experience will post we won't know for sure.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would share my experience. I am in Edmonton, AB.

I ordered a $1500 USD (after conversion $1974 CDN) bike from Bikes Direct. I had it shipped to At The Border Storage in Sweetgrass, MT. From there I had it picked up by www2.dykpost.com.

DYK post gave this breakdown of what it would cost for them to get it to Edmonton.

For a bike costing $1500USD, please see below:

    Customs brokerage: $45
    Warehouse fee $5 USD
Our courier fee to Edmonton: $20 (if it is between 50-59 lb).
If any one dimension is over 4 ft, it would be oversize and $40 (instead of $20).
Government tax/duty and 5% disbursement fee on the fee (warehouse + tax/duty)
that we pay on your behalf.

I ended up paying around $450 to DYK post as Duty was 13%.

    This is an approximate breakdown.

    GST ~$100
    Duty ~$250
    Warehouse fee $5 (Home)
    Shipping (oversize) $40
    Brokerage $45
    Disbursement fee ~$20

One thing to note is that by the time I received the bike the box was pretty beat up and there was a scratch on the chainstay. Other than that the bike was fine.

At the end of the day I could have bought a similar quality fat bike for ~$225 more at MEC.

DYK post was great to work with.

Needless to say, I am buying the bikes, shipping them to my home in florida and arranging shipping from there!

Used them for a couple of times and I wasn't satisfy with the service there once we have delivery issues and the other was documentation issues... Right now I've using Parcelbound when shipping products international. They offers variety of different Canada shipping methods that you can select from.
