    Motobecane Outcast Rear brake adapter? for tabless

    I have a Motobecane outcast. I'm not sure what year the frame is, but it has horizontal dropouts, are there any disc brake adapters for this frame? i've been looking but cant find anything

    what color is it? if its the gold/bronze one you will probably have the get that a2z adapter

    that's a disc only rear wheel, isn't it?

    Normally I would recommended with those potentially problematic disc adapters because the majority of your potential braking power is in the front wheel, so a front disc and v rear will get you most of the way there.

    a2z works

    I'm using an a2z adapter on my tabless frame and it works just fine. Be prepared to do a lot of adjusting to get caliper aligned right, but once you do, it works.

    canti to disc conversion 149 smackers plus the wheel build if needed. I would contact them or alternatively search out a new cheap singlespeed compliant frame and do a swap. Might cost the same anyway.

    The new outcast has disc sliding dropouts, BTW. Bikeisland sells just the frame.
