Idiot. Help me install my rear shock please

I just sold and shipped my stock shock and received my new fox float ctd. Thought it was direrect swap. No luck, the bolt on bottom is too big to go through the shock. Looks like the shock has sleeves you can press out or maybe drill to size?

you need to figure out what's the proper mounting hardware for your bike, each shock will have several different mounting hardware, check your bike's manual or contact fox to figure out which one you need

Going to need to measure the mounting hardware and width. Fox has a lot of adapters, just need to get the right one. Best bet is to take it to a bike shop, have them measure it and order. One of the times you don't want to get it wrong.
