Forks RockShox on the HALx 2018

There are quite a few different options when looking at choosing a new HALx and even more options on forks.
The RockShox site is very good in spelling out the different technologies/features for each line/model of their forks.

This article is helpful and educational as well

I like the Revelation RC 160mm with 35mm stanchions for added stiffness. It doesn't come with remote lockout or different lockout positions for travel though, like the Revelation RLT for example.

Any takes on the importance, preferences, likes or dislikes of remote lockout (RL vs crown adjust (RC line), different travel adjustments (T3 line) etc. etc. ?

Tire size accommodation varies as well. Only the RC line specifies:
"2.8 maximum tire compatibility for both 27.5 and 29 models (27.5x3.0 tires fit in the 29 model)"
2.8" tires go with the 35mm stanchion model.

The RC line of forks is remote lockout compatible though as seen under
    Specs
Options " Remote with 2-position compression (open/lock) via OneLoc remote "

One thing to keep in mind is that the OneLoc is a Shimano shifter like lever meant to go with a 1x drive-train.
For a 2x drive-train one could look at/adapt a different style remote (none shifter type) because of the shifter for the front derailleur.
