    "Best" handlebars are what?

What do you guys believe are the best handlebars on the market? I dont care for the aluminum ones my Ti 29er came with. I keep hearing about Easton MonkeyLite's ($120) but what about Ti bars ($130+)? Before I drop the change I want to know From EXPERIENCE whats the "best".

Go with Ti or bars if you want flashy bars. Carbons are cool looking and very nice when they work. The problem is, ESPECIALLY on a mountain bike, if you wreck or bump them wrong one time along a stress line they fracture and crack just like a diamond or crystal being cut. Then next thing you know, catastrophic failure. Keep to the metal ones that can bend and dent and still work.

I like scandium bars and they are super light. You can get a 116 gram kcnc bar for 35 bucks.

    Easton CNT bars. Proven bombproof.

Syntace for wider flat bar with more sweep.

    Edge composites reportedly good.

Salsa Moto for wide flat with a lot of sweep.

Titec H-bar for hand position, for single speed in particular,
