2019 Motobecane HAL Boost EAGLE LTD SRAM 1x12 - 29er

i've seen the reviews for the 27.5+ version - anyone get the 29er version yet:
    http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...tain-bikes.htm

Seems like a pretty good component set for the price - $1,999. Dropper post looks fairly cheapy, so that could probably be on the replace list. The rims - WTB i23 - might be a little narrow - thoughts on that? Handle bar / stem look to be generic junk, so those would probably be replaced.

    Overall thoughts on this bike?

Looks solid to me. I don't think that'll be a bad dropper post--it's made by KS. I've got a KS Lev Integra and it has been awesome. I certainly wouldn't replace the dropper post if it performs okay (and it likely will).

The motobecanes have some curious sizing/component choices.

    1. motob has 700mm wide bars, other brands use 780mm.

    2. motob uses a 70mm stem on a medium, other brands use 35 to 50mm.

So the motobecane uses a narrower bar with longer stem compared to mainstream brands. What is the reasoning behind this?
