I was at Nordic last weekend for a snowboarding contest (yeah, they had a patch of snow left) and their trails looked like they were in great shape. From what I saw, there was some really awesome features. Teeter-totters and some North Shore stuff. The trails were dry everywhere I saw, even though I was limited to just above the main lodge and a few disc golf holes. I'm kicking myself for not bringing my bike along.

after another 8 hour day (before the storms chased us out) for 4 of us at the hill i think the downhill/freeride trais are as ready to go as they are going to be (some fine tuning not included).
-the dh recieved another jump up on the slope, a lot more rocks in the rock garden (no rock moving please) and a good weed-eating (along with all the trails).
-the freeride got another line off the teeter-totter.
-the kids area is done, they now have their dh course, a freeride trail and a "flow" trail with some berms and rollers.
we will be taping the dh course saturday morning. hope to see you there.

mainly x-c riders on x-c bikes. no full face or shins really needed. i believe the worst of the weather has all tracked just to the south.

So another race has come and gone, thanks to everyone who came out to the WORS Subaru Cup for the Nordic Mtn DH. A huge thanks goes to Don and the WORS crew for running such an excellent event and letting us have the DH, to Rick for hosting the event and letting us build the trails, to Chad, Bill, Troy and Dave for all the time they put in building trails with/without me, and also to the great sponsors who supported our race with product (Crank Brothers, EVS, E-13 Components, Arrow Racing, Titec, Hayes Bicycle Group, and Nema). If you went home from the race with some of the product from the sponsors, please take a few seconds to drop the company who supported us with the product you recieved an e-mail and let them know you appreciate their support of the Nordic Mtn DH.

Also, we will be working with Rick from Nordic Mtn on setting a date in July for another day of lift access at the hill. Hope to see you there.
