Good job! Wednesday MTBing is Back!

Yes, Wednesday Nights are back for 2010.. with some changes

    1. New location- Alpha Trail Parking lot, 6414 S. 92nd St. Franklin, WI, just across the street from Whitnal Golf Parking lot.
    2. New format- riders start one at a time, 10-15 seconds apart, riding against the clock.
    3. New course- we'll be using the Alpha Trail (including the new HD line) and the Crystal Ridge Trails.
    4. New pricing- FREE , yes FREE (sorry no discounts for juniors or IMBA or Bike Fed members anymore because it's FREE).
    5. WORBA/ Metro membership is required this year.. you can join onsite.
    6. Nightly scoring with season long points
    7. Sorry no prizes or schwag raffle this year.. but did I mention, it's FREE..

We hope you'll come out out a ride with us for our 14th year as well as pass the word to your riding friends. Riders of all abilities ages 12 and up are invited (we'll be sending the fast guys out first). Registration will open at 6 PM with riding starting at 6:30. We'll start with 2 long laps and see how it works. Signed waivers are required of all riders and minors must have parental permission.
Riding is still "conditions permitting" and will be canceled when trails are wet or muddy.
Trail conditions are updated on Metro's Twitter http://twitter.com/WORBA_MMB

Won't get a chance to race there too much but got a chance to ride the new trails. They are sweet. Any chance some of the old trail that turns left once in the lower tress coming from the top of the toboggan hill will get a re-route from the point it hits the old connector area and comes back on itself to meet back up with the trail when it crosses the toboggan runs? Might make a nice extra loop that is fun as the sweeping left through the foliage was always a blast.
