    Trans-Wisconsin Tour Report

I just completed a 639 mile, 8.5 day tour along the Trans-Wisconsin route following back-roads and trails from south to north through the state. I wrote up a blog along the way if you want to check it out:

I had been fishing for route info here so I thought some of you might be interested in the final trip report.

I am obscenely jealous. I'm from WI and really miss the north woods. Glad to see you did that ride. Looks really fun!

Nice report. That sand seems like a brutal energy suck, guess that's why after last year most were hoping that it would get re-done into a loop towards the north, maybe from hayward up and back?

Are you originally from the TC area? I was raised there and am currently in Madison until 2013...

What is that strange rock formation called, or where is it? Cool pics, btw.

That's a good question. I think its called Monument Rock, on Hwy 82 south of Veroqua. Not sure of the exact location. If you want to try to look it up, let me know if you can find out more.
