Tell me about the Seeley Fat Bike Race

I'm interested in the Seeley Big Fat Race on January 19th. However, the event site doesn't give some important details:

    • For the 6 mile ride, the % of singletrack.
    • No route on Trailforks or link to similar site with profile. (Not even a downloadable GPX.)
    • Parking?
    • Where do the racers actually embark from? Do you bike from the bar to the start line?

Does someone on the forums know the answers?

Here is a link to a little bit of info. No GPX but a map. It doesn't specifically list percentage of singletrack, but from what I know of the area, its probably mostly two-track and ski type trails. Wide enough to be totally passable, nothing tight.

Looks like racers start just across the highway and down the road a bit from the Sawmill. I'd say maybe 1/2 mile.

Parking is at the Sawmill and in the area around Seeley. Plenty of parking.

Hope this helps. Here's the link:

I've decided against attending as just getting simple questions answered has been impossible. I messaged the CAMBA Facebook page also and got no answer.

I looked at the linked site, hence my saying this:

I appreciate your help, but you didn't really tell me much more than I knew.

What other important details do you think you need to know? Its a fat bike race, 6 miles long on ski and two track, parking is easily available, and the start is 1/2 mile from parking.

Its beautiful up there, the conditions are premo. Take a leap of faith and do it. You won't be disappointed.
