Never mind that. The real question is, where did you find an ant with a camera?

This photo was taken on a little blue planet that gnomes named earth. The photo was taken by a gnome (on his tippy toes).

Everybody's got some local dirt....the dirt you can ride right from your garage.....this is mine....along with one hundred and twenty-seven gnomes (2000 census numbers).

Most local dirt isn't worth the drive from anywhere....and neither is this.

Kettle will be open soon. By the looks of my local......very soon!.....and Kettle is worth the drive from just about anywhere 'round these parts.

Same here in Minneapolis - spring has sprung indeed. Here's some more local dirt...

Where is that if you don't mind sharing?

I've biked the kettle a million times and usually make it up to Chequamegon at least once a year. I'm in Milwaukee, any other trails worth a days drive near by?

    Welcome.

The photos above look like Levis-Trow - a trip northwest of you. We do it as a day and overnight trip from Madison area. There's much between you and Chequamegon. Standing Rocks, 9 Mile and Underdown come to mind. There might be more west of you than you realize too such as Cam-Rock and Blue Mound. If you give a shout on the Madison forum somebody would probably show you around. There are fun small places by Madison too such as the two Quarries (Ridge, Park) and the Middleton park kick off is this weekend.

Some of these places are fast and rolling like the Kettles and some have climbing and rock.

    Have fun.

Thanks for the info. I recently got a new bike, Trek 9.8, and have been looking to expand to new trails around here. I'm headed out west for most of June but I'll be moving to northern WI for the rest of 2010. Most of these look to be near that area so hopefully I'll be able to check them all out by the end of the season. Thanks again!
