    South Kettle OK This Weekend?

I called the conditions hot line and the last update was yesterday morning (too wet) Hoping to slide down there tomorrow, can anyone tell me if conditions are good? Thanks!

Funny guy. You make me feel so stupid.

Uh, yeah, I googled the damn question. That's where I found the conditions number (which I called) and got the day old report. Thought maybe a dude named cjohnson or something like that could give a boots on the ground update. You're a clever guy.

Well played my friend I love when people get all sarcastic on your thread without fully reading what you asked

But I hope the trails are good. I would like to head there maybe Sunday or Monday. Gimme a report if you ended up going today

Just an FYI on the way the DNR seems to regulate their hotline message. If the message is days old, the open or closed status has not changed from that message status. They only seem to change the message on the day that they open or close them.

I did ride there today. As dbikeco said, it was a bit wet in spots but by 4pm things were drying out nicely. A very nice day to be on the trail!

the trail crew was out and blew all the leaves off of the trails yesterday.....and it looks like they did some mud hole repair too....we rode the bear loop with one crash and one flat (both pretty rare for us) it was super crowded (yuck)

Today (Sunday) and tomorrow should be great for riding. The warm night last night and strong winds today should do a nice job of drying things out.

Agree! We made it down there this afternoon also. Was worried about the grey, cloudy day, but conditions were great. So glad we got a ride in.

I'm thinking of trying to get a ride in tomorrow morning at either Muir or Emma.

The question is with rain all day today, temps are predicted to hit around 29 overnite, will that be cold enough to freeze the trail tread for a ride in the morning?

Monday is the next day that the trail should be frozen solid, if the current forecast holds. The trails have really taken a beating during this freeze/thaw cycle. Saturday will be a mess out there.
