I laughed because the soil and trees in the photo are not very Madison looking.

Private land is one of the benefits of joining the club and working in the Madison area but I see the properties on public lands as the biggest benefit when you consider size and that your work will be there for generations.

Pretty sure the picture in post #566 and 567 is near Madison. It is on private land and isn't open to the public, however. The only way you can ride there is to get a job with a prominent bicycle manufacturer located in this area, or have a job at a shop that sells bikes from said manufacturer and get invited to their trade show in August.

Yep, those are the Trek trails. Got confirmation from my friends who work at Trek. If only they'd let me ride there...

Yep, those are the Trek trails. I don't work for Trek, but have been lucky enough to have ridden there a couple of times...nepotism.

Do they hire analytical chemists? I've heard about their lunch bike rides, sounds like a great place to be an avid racer/cycling fanatic, especially with those trails next door.

I should also note that the land is privately owned by a local police officer. they don't take too kindly to trespassers.

    Agreed. Trespassing was never advocated.

Possibly. You won't be doing analytical chem though.

I grew up in Reedsburg. Now live in Mt Horeb. When I race, I wear the Wildside/Moosejaw colors.

Gotta love all that Trek does to contribute to local riding!

    Thanks for sharing the trails!
