    Are others having trouble with the website? Such as no way to register on the register page, and nothing showing up for course information.

    I have tried with three browsers, but still nothing. Course information and rules of the trail have nothing on them. And the registration page just gives me cost and deadlines, but no where to register. Am I missing something?

    Ask about the issues you are having and the questions you have at the link above.

    I think they pulled the trigger on the site a little early...

    I just went to the site and it's up.

    How would these be for a new rider? I've been road riding for years, and did some BMX when I was younger many moons ago...

    @Tiny_MN

    I guess that is a subjective question. My understanding is that they will being a combination singletrack, mine haul roads, and gravel roads for this. (Cuyuna, despite its many strengths, is not very linear for a lap style race.)

    Without knowing your level of physical fitness its hard for me to say. I would say ask yourself these questions:

    1) Am I good enough to handle climbing (10-15% slope, at least 1/4 mile) regularly?

    2) Am I comfortable with fast and curvy descents?

    3) Can I do 25/50/100 miles (whatever length you are doing) of singletrack in one shot?

    If the answer to those three questions is 'Yes' than I would say give it a try. I would also say you should get up to Cuyuna as soon as its open in the spring and try to do every mile of trail in one shot. See how you feel after that.
