Thanks for sharing DJ. Could you explain how you set up your camera to capture that?

This covers the angle and the basic composition. What about exposure settings, DJ?

Please explain? You took the shot, all I did was spread it worldwide.

Here's an explanation: You took my picture and uploaded it to your photobucket site. You posted it here without attribution or explanation why it is even relevant to the Wi/Mn forum. I tried to call you out on it, and you sort of played along until you forgot you were playing along. Next time I'll be more direct as it will involve less explanation and typing.

    To sum up:
DJ posted a picture of mine that I shared here on MTBR. I'm fine with that, but an attribution would have been common courtesy.

The photo was taken in Rochester, Mn as a part of a 52 week photo challenge. The weekly theme was silhouette.

I created the picture by laying down in a field of weeds to capture my son jumping over the sun. He started off a small trailer that was abandoned in the field. That made his jump look like he was superman.

The camera settings were manual mode: exposure was set against the sunset without Drew in the field - 1/6400" to stop motion, f/3.2 to get as much light in as I could with the fast shutter speed, ISO 640 to minimize image noise in the sky. Since the camera was in manual mode, I could now focus on Drew and not have to worry about the exposure changing as he moved across the sun.

We took over 120 shots of various ninja jumps, karate moves, and general play to get a couple that worked out nicely. This one was our second favorite (he voted the other because he didn't like the bunny ears)

Totally feeling like a third-wheeler to this personal grievance party. Quite a downer after feeling so clever with my word choices.
