Rode it about three weeks ago. Was in good condition. Since the spring wet season is over, the trails should stay good throughout the summer/fall pending several straight days of rain. Even then, the trails dry out pretty quick except those covered by dense foilage.

No changes in the Muir since last year. The connector is changing every week or so. The local trail crew is working on making it two way the entire stretch, or at least the tight/blind turn areas. I'd say about 30-40% is two way now. The new sections are nice, somewhat challenging. They will get better with more traffic. Emma is the same as last year as well.

For traffic on the trails... all depends when you go. I'd say peak usage is on Sat. from 10-3, then Sun. from 11-4 or so. Even then, there is enough mileage and one way trails, that you won't see to many riders unless you are really slow, or really fast for that matter.
