There are a few but very important work days left in the Madison area. Some fun days too. Please do your part to solve the classic MTB problem where trail opportunity exceeds participation and income needed to make it happen. This time it's really cool.

May 16 gets in motion a few miles of new single track at the Middleton Bike Park. Where else do we have skills area, pump track, dirt jumps and now superb single track where they serve local beer with free WiFi? Niner bikes will have demos and with CORP host a party at the club house.

Next day May 17 is open house at Blackhawk Ski Club. Blackhawk is private but a member of the IMBA chapter and in a total trail rebuild. Three of several stages are done and more work at it tomorrow.

Helping out the WORS race May 31 is helping out how Dane County trails get done. Visit madcitydirt.com for info and volunteer signup.

The June 13 work day at Blue Mound is vital and fundamental change. The new Blue Mound work will allow the park to be open far more. It and work started last year eliminates wet sections that keep the trails closed when other places are open.
