Its been rainy in Chicago for the past two days so I assuming its probably still wet up there as well?

The best way to find out is to call the trail info hotline: 1-262-594-6202

They update at like 6 or 7 AM every day. Or almost every day.

Its gonna get rained on ALL day today. Probably tomorrow too. I think its safe to say they're going to be closed for the foreseeable future.

Last week we planned on heading up there this weekend. Then it rained. Finally the snow slows down but now we have rain. Can't we just have some peace!?!?!?!?

Based on current conditions and the forecast, I can't imagine they would be opened this weekend.
WORBA is planning some trail work this weekend if you are interested in volunteering.

Though, the weather forecast looks so lousy, that may be cancelled as well.

    They are OPEN!

As of the Thursday they have been open and in good condition (aside from some mud in heavy pine cover areas). They have not updated their trail conditions since that report, so you can assume the trails have done nothing but get better over this warm breezy weekend.

BTW; the trail conditions phone number is 262-594-6202

    very nice riding

the trails were in great shape Sunday. The track was tacky and there was no standing water.

I noticed trail gnomes have been at work too. A very nice reroute at the junction of the red/blue and white trail has been built. I spotted it where it rejoins the blue loop. To ride it follow the white (or red/orange?) loop.

I really like the small log pyramids too.
