Hey, if MI get's its own thread so should MN...

...dammit. No offense to Wisco, but IL and IN should be lumped on their own. Not sure about OH, haven't spent much time there.

    Wink Soup's On!

First of all......Wisconsin is just the vacationland for the state of Illinois. Sort of a province of Chicago. Yea, Chicago should have its own board...........it's own site.........it's own internet.......that's right it's own planet..............and then what? I'll go out on a limb and say............Total Chaos.

The Michigan board has 3 posts. You think the Minnesota board could beat that? Can't all of us bread basketers just get along? Poor Missouri isn't even included on any regional board. They're just clinging on to this board because they hold the most kick a$$ events in the Midwest. (da Summit and Bonktoberfest). Children in Oklahoma are starving for their own mountain bike discussion forum, so eat all your peas Shawn and come down to da summit with Mark and bring that Martini and Ivan tag team along too. The good times will roll and you won't even remember that you got saddled with Ill-Nois and Hoosier-Momma here in MTBr cyber-(sur)reality.

    Fib?!

    WTF is a FIB?

MN deserves its own thread and BTW, Mssr. Lake, WI is Minnesota's vacationland...planning to annex that der state, and all bad beer and cheese associated with it, in the coming year. Well, at least after we annex the Dakotas...and Canada...and maybe IA.

    Sean..not Shawn dammit.

It won't be here. A buddy of mine and I from over on the DH/FR forum have decided to start a Minnesota Freeriders website. It will contain a message board, events calender, phot gallery, and some other goodies along with a a weekly write up by me. Hopefully it will be up by late may.

Soupboy: MN doesnt ned its oww forum. As much as the few people from MN want it, its not needed. Just use the morc boards. there are penty of people using that. Not many will use this site over that one for trail stuff.

Do I know you FSRslug??? As for the website I wanted a place where I could easily get a hold of and contact riders throughout MN that are into DH/FR, MORC didn't have anything for that kind of stuff. All XC . So I decided to make a website for all the DH/FRers in MN. I know there are alot, now hopefully it will help to organize us to the point that we can get some events rolling and such. There just isn't a voice for it right now, b/c there is now organization. Hopefully this website will help.

There are a couple of discussions on the MORC website right now if you're interested.

Good luck with your website when you get it running. Another resource is always good.
