FS or HT for Chequamegon 40?

Ok, I'm signed up for the Chequamegon 40 but I don't have a mtn bike. Two that I'm considering are the Motobecane Fly 29er Ti and a Specialized Epic Comp 29er. I can get either for $2000. So what would you get for the Chequamegon and general riding in the Twin Cities?

Both are fine choices and would be great bikes for cheq.

Hands down. Moto fly team 29er Ti. Waaaaaaaay better parts. No need for a fs in the chequamegon. If you ride the twin cities trails that i ride( leb, murphy...) then you wont need the fs for that either. Also if you buy it at bikes direct you can get it about $800 cheaper. I know a couple people who own one and they are very happy. Now you just have to wait for September.

Well, I puled the trigger and. Went with the Moto. I think I would have been happy with either, but I've always wanted a ti mtn bike!

Got an email today that the Moto is soldout. They gave no timing on when it would be in stock. I'm back to ground zero!
