Called last night and they said that the trails were open minus the blue loop. I was planning on riding the orange loop a couple times but after I came into a corner too hot and washed out the front causing some pretty good bleeding on my forearms and calves I called it quites. Most of the trail is pretty stable but there are some sticky spots. I saw some people come out of the blue loop covered in mud so I would NOT go back there for a couple of days. It's supposed to rain again tonight so I don't think it's going to get any better.

We had a crew of seven last night to go out on the connector and prune and remove some of the downed trees from the solstice storm that decimated Eagle, WI. I'm sure we have more work to do, but we made a dent on the southern half of the connector.

You can report any deadfalls to TrailBlazer Dave and we'll get a crew out there.

    contact emails are at southernkettles.org
