New question here. Anyone been out to Lebanon?

Wanted to head out for my first ride since moving here-

Just wanted to see how the trails were and if I should bring my
    Fatbike or my Epi?

    Thanks for the update...

Thanks- I found it this morning. I'm going to try Leb or Elm in a bit. I assume the 32 degree rule is for when there's snow covering the trail but not when it's still bare?

Lebanon is fairly well shaded with limited sections that get direct sunlight, so there's really no direct correlation regarding the freezing mark.

Dirt in direct sunlight can be mud and causing major trail damage even in the low 20's. You need to be real cautious about trail damage in the winter. Trails do not dry in winter. The armoring of the dirt trails is gone from the freeze/thaw cycles. When they thaw it is not good. Best times to ride: when cold and shady; early in the day before the sun goes to work; or a good night ride after it cools again.

I know this was posted a few months ago, but if you're still curious...

Lebanon MTB trails are closed until late March I believe. You can check the Dakota County website for more info. I just moved back to the south metro and finally figured out that Lebanon has trails. Hopefully riding around the lakes in MPLS hasn't made me soft.
