This is a great site with all the trails with the conditions and maps and directions you would need.

Murphy hanrehan is amazing and so is lebanon hills and hillside park. there prob the best trails near the twin cities.

    Have fun!

The Twin Cities have quite a bit of singletrack for a metro area. I would recommend Lebanon Hills and Murphy-Hanrehan. If it is after July 1st, check out our new 12.5 mile Elm Creek trail which has 10 miles opening late June and then the last 2.5 miles by the end of summer. We have about 50 miles of singletrack in the Twin Cities are area right now and another 20 miles opening up this summer.

P.S. If you have the time, which you probably won't during a wedding weekend, check out Cuyuna Lakes State Recreation Area 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. This new trail system will be fully open next weekend and it is amazing. Like nothing else in the Midwest.

All info you need can be found at the MORC website that was mentioned earlier. Hope you have a good time in MN!

Don't forget about Theodore-Wirth in the cities too. Short (5 miles) but good.

Yeah, come to Cuyuna. You have no idea how awesome it is.

6 foot tall log roller at lebanon, and lots of fun techy runs and super tricksy rock gardens. so sick.

Hillside up in Elk River is the best trail near the Twin Cities. It has some good climbing, good tech, and good flowy sections. Many people who tout how great Leb is haven't been to Hillside.....just sayin'

I know that the parking lot for the trail head at Lebanon Hills is on Johnny Cake Ridge Road. Hope that helps.

I think so. You get off the freeway onto cliff road. Head east. Take a right (south) onto Johnny Cake Ridge Road (I think, double check the name) There will be a dirt parking lot on your right hand side a 1/4 mile down the road. You cant miss it.

If you have time, check out Cuyuna. Its the best trail in the state. Otherwise Lebanon and Murphy are metro area favorites of most people. Hillside as well.
