I'll probably be heading to those both before summers end. Thanks fellas, anything else you can think of off the top of your head? I'm surprised no younger guys have something cool built in the woods somewhere on here lol

I saw a DH bike turning down the road towards Devil's Head in Baraboo, WI. Maybe I aught to check that out sometime.

    I have a car. I made a choice. I ride my bike.

Detroit Lakes has DH new this year, just opened.

Yes, Devil's Head has DH as well.

Also Mont du Lac in WI across from Spirit has some kind of DH operation.

I believe they offer a shuttle service 2 days a week (tue. and sun.) otherwise you are climbing. You know "enduro"-style

What is the shuttle, typically? Is it a truck? Van?

I think Mont Du Lac still uses a tractor and hay-wagon (not joking).

Also, you should check out the Hidden Gem of the North (The Hidden Gem of the North - Pinkbike) near Bayfield, WI. It's on private land, so I'm not totally clear on access issues. You can probably get a hold of some of the folks via PinkBike, if you don't otherwise have a connection. It sounds like it's a legit home-grown gravity spot.

What is the downhill in Redwing called? Is it a bike park or just trails that you ride up and down?
