New question here. Any decent trails around Caledonia, WI???

My buddies and I are gonna be taking our families to Yogi Bear Camp Jellystone Resort, in a few weeks. Well, while the wifeys/girlfriends & kids will be hitting the waterpark, the guys and I were hoping to get in some trail riding. Can any of you Wisconsin peeps tell me if there are any decent trails within an hr's drive from Caledonia? Thanks in advance...

    Kettles

You have the southern kettles within about 45 minutes. That is if they can dry out from all the rain this week.

About a 20 minute drive North to the Alpha Trail at Whitnall Park. These trails are frequently closed when it's wet so I wouldn't head that way unless thing dry out quite a bit around here.

Or a technical informal trail system about 20 minutes South at Petrifying Springs County Park (Pets).

John Muir/Emma Carlin Trails in Kettle Moraine State Forest is about 45 minute drive west and has the most trails. You can do a huge 25-mile loop by doing John Muir, the connector trails, and Emma Carlin.

    Good job!

Thanks for the responses. I've been to all 3, and they're all great places to ride! If the weather is decent, we'll either hit-up the Alpha Trail or the JM/EC at Kettle South. Thanks again...

Alpha Trail and Crystal Ridge are currently closed due to wet conditions.

Metro Hotline- (414) 297-9616 opt 2 for local conditions.

I wasn't aware that hotline existed. Thank's for the info.
