    I'm guessing you take it off at the end of the ride, and leave it lay somewhere and drive off without thinking until you reach your next destination. Just a guess.

    owner found

    the guy had a roof rack, left the wheel on the side of the car and then took off, stopped for second and then took off. luckily, the guy posted a lost and found ad in the cambr website. could have been finders keepers

    Yes, I'm the guy that left my tire behind. David called my on Tuesday and really made my day. Thanks again for not only returning my wheel but hand delivering it to my office. It's nice to know there are good honest people out there looking out for a dummy like myself. .
