Duc32 Stem swap for better climbing performance

    Hey folks

I have a Duc32 on my Giant Trance1. On steep climbs, my bike tends to wonder a lot (even in 4" mode) and it drives my nuts. I've been riding for years and I know a good climber when I ride one.

I have this feeling that - if I were to swap out my short standard 90mm stem for a longer and lower-angled stem, perhaps an adjustabble 100mm, I might be able to gain some better climbing performance.

    What do you guys think?
Has anybody swap stems for increased climbing performance?

Longer and lower will help to transfer weight over the front wheel.

The Trance1 is a 4" bike right? You installed a 6" fork on it and that will bring the front end way up, slacken the head angle, lengthen the front center, raise the BB height and lengthen the wheelbase.

I ride so slow, your Garmin will shut off.
