    Wendell SF to Erving SF
Is there any way to connect a ride between these two? Just looking at the map, they're separated by the Millers River. Also, is a Montague/Wendell/Erving/Warwick ride possible? At least on the map they look interconnected. Even just fire roads so my girl will be willing to go. Thanks

Heck, you can get from batchelor street in Granby to Warwick if you want.

For Montague to Wendell you could start at Dry Hill Road, but a more fun one is Leverett to Wendell. Start at the power lines near the Leverett Co-op, hop on the M&M and take that up to Wendell. Return on the Frost. Only caveat is there ain't much signage. I've done it who knows how many times and still miss turns sometimes.

Once in WSF, you could take fireroads, or descend the Mormon Hollow or Hannah Swarton, take the Frost to Farley Road, and that will take you over the millers and across Rt 2.

Thanks for the info. What are the Frost and the M&M though?

Frost - Robert Frost Trail. Continuous, mostly single-track, multi-use trail from Amherst to Wendell, Orange Blazes.
M&M Metacomet-Monadnock_Trail. Continuous from Connecticut Coast to Mt Monadnock in Southern NH. About 1/2 Double Track half Single track, some hiker only, some multi-use. White Blazes. Runs through Wendell State Forest, through Erving, Northfield, Warwick. Smelly incorrectly attributed the section North of WSF as the Frost, it is the M&M, but we knew what he meant.

To connect the montague plains to wendell, take the trail up dry hill that begins behind Sirum's Tractor on rte 63 (the very edge of the trails in the plains dump out on lake pleasant rd right by sirums).

The M & M between Erving and wendell is difficult to hike let alone bike, however, the M&M north through erving to Mt Grace is most ridable and mostly quite good. If you ride to the bottom of Bear Mt (in Wendell sf) to the millers river, there is a double track that will take you over to wendell depot rd and you can cross into erving there.

Thanks all. How about continuing from Erving SF to Mount Grace? Would the best route be through Northfield SF or Warwick SF? Worthwhile? Thanks

Just follow the M&M-most of it is rideable, and some of it is great.

About 15 years ago, NEMBA built a trail at Mt Grace called the around the mountain trail. It was already going back to nature around 10 years ago the last time I rode it, I'd love to hear if it is still rideable-post up if you make the journey!
