    Trails after the storm

Once we get dumped on what's the process for getting the trails rideable again?
Id like to help get things moving but never been out after the snow?

    Trails after the storm

Stomp them down with snowshoes. Don't bother with any steep hills, focus on the flats. Then get out your fatbike and ride!

Won't matter how much you snowshoe or snomobile, it needs to warm up and get packed down, then get cold before you can ride, especially with powder. I got 3' of super soft powder so there will be no riding for me for a while.

I'll do some prep work with the snowmobile, but it'll take some weather to finish the job.
Tend to have to stick to the wider stuff though, so it's not as much fun, but the singletrack will be ready a bit sooner in spring if the snow on it hasn't been packed down over the winter, so that's cool too. At least it's something to ride.

    Mr. Mofo,
That is the reason we do not snowshoe Lowell Dracut. It is one of the first places to ride in the spring in the area. Russell Mill has been snowshoed. It is close to fat ready but needs a bit more traffic and or a little help from the weather.
