Bike is a one of custom built - Black carbon fiber frame with Klein stickers on it. Mavic Crossride wheelset, white rock shox suspension fork.

The theif probably has no clue about brands. My second bike is a Klein (hence the stickers on this bike). I like the Klein, but I'd rather have this ebay carbon bike. It rode really well. Many people are skeptical about those ebay carbons, for good reason, but I got to say it was pretty nice. No regrets in buying it.

Just a cable, with a combo lock. I have since bought a Kryptonite u-lock for my other bike.

I lock my commuter bike up with way more than that and it's a ten year old steel.

Boston is just like any other major metropolis. If you have something that looks very nice, it will most likely get noticed. Even if it isn't nice, it just might be something some jackass wants to take. Locks are for honest people. Dishonest people have ways to bypass locks.
