Anywhere from just me to 20 could show. Thinking this weekend may get rained out. Check here Saturday morning & I'll have a decision fairly early.

Or... start at the notch... warm up on the road... and race at the Orchard Assault!

How's Robinson handling the water? Carolynn's been harping on me, telling me it's too wet still.

Haven't been over there in a while but I'm sure it's ok as long as you stay away from the 2 low lying trails kind of near the river.

I rode Robinson last weekend and it is awesome except for the lower trails which had a few inches of water on them, i bet they will be dried out by this weekend with the temps and breeze. I am going to be there around 2 on sat.
    Happy trails

    Ride on for 5.7

We'll be starting with a climb to the top of Tinker Hill over on Earl's this Saturday followed by a great descent to Chmura Rd. The it's up to the group.

    See you Saturday.

You guys did great! Maybe you'll be ready for the Epics? Probably the only two with flats, though...

You are so full of it :-)

Murph did great, I barely survived! That climb up to the top of Tinker hill is really is a real ball buster. My computer put from the lot to the top just at 3 miles of what all seemed like up. I was so wiped from Earls that B-street was down right dangerous. Techy lines that aren't ussually an issue seemed impossible. I guess I just need to ride with you more. DOH!

    5.14 ride

I'm thinking of doing a loop at Batchelor St. first this week followed by a shorter loop at Earls to finish up.

Very good chance I will see you out on the trails, just can't ride with your group this time. I need to get an early start as need to be home by around 11:00. I will be staring from B-street and doing a counter clockwise loop starting up Entrance exam and finishing on RC. The rest is up in the air. I am sure you guys will pass me at some point

Yes, that is the plan. There are 3 of us that have committed to making it happen so we ought to have it covered.

I think I'm gunna join this week. Just a quick question. What is the skill level/pace? I'm not really concerned about skill level as much as pace; I can pretty much handle anything it's just a matter of how fast. Thanks

I don't go too fast but I do ride a singlespeed. You'll be fine, we don't leave anybody on their own & wait at trail intersections.

As of today the park is still closed so I'm postponing the ride until later this summer. The TFN commitee will meet tomorrow to discuss the new date. I'm about to add the official post to the forum.

Ride is on for Saturday. 9:00 Notch visitors center in Amherst. I'm thinking of a conversational paced Earl's ride.

I'm planning on riding from the B street lot around 7:30 to 8:00am and do a 10 to 12 mile loop. Going to be a medium to slow pace as I have not been on the bike in a couple of weeks.
