wow--the memories--i loved riding there but havent been there in quite a few years--since they put up those megabuck homes on camp(?) st and took away the little parking area and trailhead past the burnt clubhouse---how is it accessed now?

Since the AMC sold their land and those houses were built, there is no longer any legal access to the trail system. Therefore, out of respect for the locals who maintain the trails, please refrain from discussing these trails on a public forum. Much appreciated.

First, your contacting the Water Department is exactlly what those of us who have been riding and maintaining these trails for years do not want you to do.
Second, I do not know who you spoke to, but in my 20 year experience in dealing with them, including the head of the department, the message has been clear-anyone who is on the property is a trespasser. Hence, the No Trespassing Signs.
Please read the "Don't Ask- Don't Tell" thread in the Trail Advocacy Forum and, once again, please respect the wishes of the locals and stop discussing these trails on a public forum.
