Look at http://nscyc.org/node/1070. There are beginner and advanced groups. Mostly road riders playing in the woods 😉

Thanks. I appreciate the link. This is a big help.

Looks like they ride right up until snow covers the ground. Nice!

For the most part. Sign up for the email list and it will keep you informed. You will need to sign a waiver or join the club to join them though.

    Hi,

Thanks for asking. I've been getting the great emails but my PCS (post concussion syndrome) is worse than I thought. I injured my head in a public skating rink in March and had a big setback after a long ride in Rowley with some more experienced riders a few weeks ago.

It has to do with physical stress and how it relates to the brain.

I learned this the hard way and have located a better concussion doctor (Cantu Concussion Center - Concord). It's part of Emerson Hospital.

If my current neurologist had ever said strenuous physical exercise will bring you back to square one I never would have done it. I heard my current doctor is good but I should have found a center that specializes in concussions early on.

Thanks for checking in. Maybe when I get better we can hook up for a ride someday.

    Have a great Christmas.

By the way, if you ever know of anyone suffering from PCS a new brain injury support group has started in the Cummings Center in Beverly. I received a ton of helped from another attendee on my first visit last week. It's held through the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts.
