North Shore Tour - Beverly to Essex and back

I'm looking to check out some areas I've never been too and always noticed trails in the woods off of 128 when driving to Gloucster. Based on maps I've seen it looks like it would be pretty easy to connect singletrack from Beverly Commons up into Essex and back to make for a nice loop. Anyone familiar with those trails have any info to share? Ie, quality of trails (looks like lots of rock rollers), issues with access, etc. Thanks.

Edit - I see what I'm describing is the infamous School St/G Spot so I'm sure that's great. How about connecting the Beverly part? Huge ride or doable?
