Good job! NEMBA Map & Newbie Question

    Hey all,

Bit of a newbie here. I just picked up a 2011 GF Utopia this week at the Wheelworks sale.

Anyways, a friend of mine pointed me to the NEMBA site to find locations to ride. I love the wealth of information about the trails on that site, but I really wished there was a map with all the locations.

I had some time to kill, so I threw this map together. NEMBA Google Map

Hopefully others will find it useful as well!

Newbie question - will the weather coming through tomorrow and friday make trails unridable on Sunday?

    Thanks!

Sort of a tough question to answer. The guys who get paid to know what the weather is going to do don't really know what the weather is going to do.

I'd say if trails aren't in good shape today, they will not be in good shape Sunday. We do know for sure that we'll be getting a fair amount of precipitation, just not what form it will take.

Everything that is currently in good shape (not stuff on the edge) is on the dry side for this time of year, so as long as those trails aren't buried in snow on Sunday, they should be rideable since Sat/Sun are supposed to be sunny.

    I hope this helps,
    Pete
I can barely get my mouth around it.

Nice job with the map. Its missing some that mine has but it has some that mine doesn't. Never really picked through the NEMBA list. I need to check a few of those places out.

I think that is pretty cool.

That map creator is awesome. I started using it to determine my best sales routes.

where do you live? some trails drain better than others. greenwood/beverly upper trails drain well and so does lynn woods. stick to high trails for better conditions

I've been starting a google map of mtb destinations around the world. It's very useful for that sort of thing.
