    MTB trials in Boston

Hey guys. I will be flying in from San Diego to the Boston area next week and have access to a mountain bike and need to kow where the trails are as close to Boston as possible. I'm be in Jamaica Plain, Dorchester, Malden, and Everett. However, I'm open to anywhere there are good trails. I'll have my GPS and my Rockgarden gear so any level of trails are cool. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm only familiar with the places north of Boston, but I'd suggest:
    The Fells
    Russell Mill (Chelmsford, MA)
    Harold Parker

Google will you get you any info you need on the above. The trails are leafy this time of year so be careful as it gets slippery.

Is Blue Hill open to mountain bikes - and if so is it worth it?

Yes, and worth it is so subjective. Would I fly my bike here to ride BH? No. If you live across the street and want a quick workout or just want to be in the woods, sure. If you want to climb some hills, sure, but there are too many other good, techy places around Boston to ride to make BH a destination ride.
