Landmine Classic 12 or 25 miles?

I'm planning on racing the Landmine Classic at wompy next weekend but can't decide on the 12 or 25 mile race. I've been racing cat3 this season. If I moved up to Cat2 and raced the 25 miles would it be that much more difficult? More time on the bike is fun but I'm worried about bonking towards the end. Any advice? Thanks

Landmine 25 is a tough course. It is not fast and flowy. If you are not used to riding 25 miles, you might want to do the 12. If you are fast, you can do the course in under 2 and a half hours. 3 hours is probably more realistic. It has lots of rocks and roots.

    Good luck! I'll be there.
My name is Chris and I ride a Ripmo now.
