I'm so tempted to ride trail of tears tomorrow, but i think my wife would not be pleased.

Here's an ancient pic of me in Gloria -

Good luck to all in the path.

    Get the chain saws ready.
Maybe the Gauntlet in Wellfleet will be okay. Not many big trees there.

I was drenched in sweat because of the humidity. But the course is looking good. I'll ride tomorrow at *:30 or so. I've got a group of 6 or 7 that usually show up. Sometimes 3, sometimes 8!

I'm watching the weather to see if it's worth waiting a bit in the AM to let it drain a bit.

Adam, I rode out of the Cohasset lot today. It runs through Whitney Thayer woods to get to Wompatuck.

Adam, we had an awesome ride. Not very muddy at all. A bit slick in spots, but fast.

what a difference a hurricane makes. i road just before it and the humidity was awfull went out today at like 2 and had to be the nicest day of the year, nice cool breeze and all.

the landmine course at wompy was even marked in the one confusing parts with arrows and all, for some reason those arrows are super motivating... not much stuff down in the trails either,.. or they work really fast and already cleared it. one huge branch down once you cross the road i think near w1, no way i was going to be able to move it and it litterally covers the whole trail i had to pick my bike up and climb over it.

has anybody done the mileage on the course for beginners, i thought it was sapost to be 11 miles but i came up with 12.6 didn't know if my speedo is off and i need to recalibrate it.

Yeah yesterday was oppressive. The Cat 3 course could easily be longer than they say.

I'm riding tomorrow if your interested. Met JFair27 today, I think.. Haven't met DWreck yet, but the season is long!
I'm riding at 8:30 tomorrow, so post up!
