    Harold Parker Conditions?

Can anyone comment on the conditions? I'm seeing a lot of dirt in the woods.

Sounds promising. I am thinking it will be decent by this weekend.

With all this melting going on a good nights freeze would make the trails perfect for ripping. So much traction on frozen dirt. I hear Dogtown is ride able I'll find out tomorrow.

Hit us back with some updates after your ride.

It would seem that winter riding is almost ready to go without driving two hours.

Good news Dogtown was a blast today. Not to muddy at all. A few patches of snow and ice but absolutely ride able. A great day to get out.
Bad news looks like rain coming tomorrow.

A friend went to HP at lunch. Sounds a ways off yet. About 20% snowfree but much of the rest is wheelsucking, post hole while you push your bike slush. If you go, go when it's frozen.
Dogtown is always a decision this time of year as my buddy Sam likes to tell it.

I had such a good time at Otis last weekend I may have to return.

    Dogtown question........

........what can I expect for conditions on Saturday after all this rain we are getting today? Does the place dry out quick? Better to wait till Sunday?
    Thanks for any input,
    M.

Dogtown is mostly sand and rock so it drains real quick. The trails will be softer and you may see some puddles here and there but overall should be fine.

    How's HP looking? Ride-able? Studs/no studs?

Dogtown is in very good shape. I'm going to check to go further down the line today to see if anything else is ride-able.

    HP>>> Not great

The walkers have made it difficult to find smooth riding, unlike 2 weeks ago when the walkers/skiers really helped! The only hope is to find groomed snowmobile trails and the conditions are almost IDEAL! The powerlines around Middleton reservior offer some great riding although its tough to ride for more than 60 mins without re-riding.

Unless we have some good melt and freeze conditions, overall HP will continue to be spotty. Frustration rules but Dogtown conditions are superb
