    Harold Parker?

I'm being a good doob and laying off the trails until things dry out. However, I am curious if HP is dry enough to ride. I may head out for an early AM jaunt when the trails are frozen.

Anybody hit HP in the past couple of days? Things dry enough to ride mid-day?

    Thanks!

    Keep us posted...........

.........I live in North Andover, and ride HP every week. (When there is no snow) I was planning on going this weekend. Give me a ride report if you can.

I was out in HP the other day. If you keep to the RT 125 side of things it is clear and reasonable dry. You definately need to know where to go, and not much is marked over in this quadrant.
With more dry weather and sun things are going to be looking up.

I was out there today and did a short loop. The trails around Salem Pond were good and dry with only a few wet spots but as I got closer to Jenkins lot there was a bunch of ice on the trail. Some of the fireroad was real soft. I made sure to walk around the real bad areas. It should be real dry by the weekend but those icy trails will need a few warm dry nights to clear them out.

125 side has some fun stuff

we're talking about the entrance by the state police, right? if so, i like that area a lot. it has some nice single track. i focused a lot of my attention on that side when i first started riding HP.

    any hope for tomorrow

Any chance that it might have dried enough, or, am I dreaming about riding on the 125 side tomorrow?

How about now? Too wet after last nights rain, or is it ok?

If 3" of rain a little over a week ago didn't make it unrideable, the tenth of an inch of precipitation last night wouldn't.

The trails were firm, tread lightly around the standing water.

HP was great today. Bumped into a few small groups of riders, everyone seemed happy to be riding on dirt.

Any recent update on HP? Rode there last Saturday on the 125 side and it was in pretty good shape other than the occasional standing water.
I'm thinking of doing an early am run tomorrow before the easter feast, just wondering what's rideable or unrideable at this point.
