PR/LLF Grove Street pine forest development ...connector appears to be going away

welp, I now see bulldozer tracks or some other tracked vehicle marks in that section.

looks like the development is gonna move forward.

if trail gets blocked know that elves will cut a new one along the whole length of the rock wall so at least there will be a 'grove street side' path to get from one side to another

anyone know for sure if development has the go ahead ?

No idea. I know the elves already cut a new trail from the old pallet bridge side up to where the new super long bridge crosses the swamp.

    Looks like it's a go
Lexington Planning Board members OK subdivision on Grove Street - News - Lexington Minuteman - Lexington, MA
The Grove Street development proposed by North Shore Construction has residents battling over what is important in town and the Planning Board approving a conventional subdivision.

At its Sept. 7 meeting, the Planning Board weighed in on presentations developers gave about two separate types of developments for a plot of land on Grove Street. The board voted to approve a preliminary plan for 13 houses on a 12.5-acre plot by a 3 to 2 vote for conventional subdivisions with reservations.

I dont feel comfortable saying the next time we see you wed like to see a definitive plan, said Planning Board member Richard Canale.

I don't know. I'd say we all own a piece of this. The residents of Lexington could have decided to buy it, but they chose to take the extra income instead (property taxes). All of us could have had a fundraiser and bought it, but we didn't.

Doh! Sorry, I've got my bearings wrong. It's a new trail, but not up by the pines. Circled in blue below.
