    Fox Van 180mm Clanking/Creaking Noise

Was curious if anyone running this fork has had the creaking issue that apparently is the result of the stanchions/crown contact. Marc at Centraal said I had to send it in to Fox to fix. Has anyone bothered to have this done? I was thinking about doing it but not sure. Thoughts?

    Thanks,

    John

Creaky crowns are fairly common, I sent back my old 36 to Fox and they replaced it under warranty. It's well worth getting it done, the noise drove me nuts.

I'd think the guys at Centraal would know what they're talking about, they seem pretty savvy to me.
A crown/stanchion noise would make me kind of nervous.
Hold my beer and watch this!

Not questioning Marc's recommendation, I trust him implicitly. Yeah i'm guessing the warranty is up. Anyone know what the warranty is for the Fox Van? Probably gonna cost me a $150 at least. I'll probably end up getting it done as it doesn't look like i will be riding anytime soon and yes the creaking is wicked annoying
